Another song that I remember as a little boy, but did not knowe who sang the song, was Misty Moonlight.  Mine ignorance is dismissed.  I now knowe that Jerry Wallace sang that song.

When I was a little boy, I used to play a record called Yogi. I never knew who sang that song until now. The song was sang by the Ivy Three.

I have never been a fan of Chevrolet.  However, I was always fascinated by the 1961 Chevrolets, since I was a little boy.  These Chevrolets were different.  In fact, as can seen in the following videos, the marketing was different also.  I have decided to let Dinah Shore introduce the 1961 Chevrolets in the first video.

Interesting enough, my favourite car commercial happens to be for the 1961 Chevrolet.

And finally, the strangest car commercial that I have ever seen is for a 1961 Chevrolet.

For an added bonus, My Three Sons

When I was a little boy, I used to enjoy a television series entitled, Kolchak: The Night Stalker.  The series began as a movie entitled, The Night Stalker.  Unfortunately, the series did not last long.  I have taken the liberty of posting the movie which began the series.

By serendipity, I came across a video about a dancing robot.  Well, I had never heard of Psy; and being as musical as I am, I searched for a video.  The video is quite strange; but what is stranger, is that the video is one of the most successful YouTube videos ever released.

Thunderbird is a brand of wine from E&J Gallo Winery. Many songs have been made about Thunderbird wine, beginning with Red Prysock - What's The Word? Thunderbird!

Later, The Rivingtons debuted in 1962 with their album Doin the Bird. The first single from that album was Papa-Oom-Mow-Mow.

Later, The Rivington's released The Bird's the Word.

Then along came 1963, and the Trashmen. The Trashmen's claim to fame was Surfin' Bird.

As can be seen in the video, The Trashmen claimed to have written Surfin Bird on their own. The Rivingtons sued, and won!

One of Procter & Gambles most successful products, except for here, is Ariel.  Ariel is a popular laundry detergent.  However, what got mine attention was an Ariel banner ad that was a video game.  in this game, George W. Bush., and Adolf Hitler appear.  However, when sprayed by Ariel.  Bush Jr. turns into Mohandas Gandhi and Hitler turns into Charlie Chaplin.
